This course deals with the nature of peace in terms of its perception; aims, importance, and foundations in human societies. It also deals with the role of education in enhancing peace among individual and society. The course discusses the role of the social and educational organization in realizing peace; family and school. The course analyzes peace in Islamic education, difficulties that prevent peace realization in human society and the role of education in challenging such difficulties.
